Aunt Amy came and played for hours with Piper while I cooked and prepped.
Moxie watched quietly the whole time.

Saoirse and her parents came and both girls were in heaven to be together.

I did up their table with port glasses as their glasses for deluted bubbly juice.
They were into it.

And the table cloth was still white at the end of the evening!

Probibly because they were having too much fun to actually eat.

Piper teaching Aunt Amy " the hugging game"

The next morning we took it easy. But Josh had to work.

But he suggested we meet him at the pool at the end of the day.
Aunt Amy was a trooper so we headed down.

A very rare sight indeed!

Daddy had so much fun he suggested he take the girls for a hike the next day.

Or it could have had something to do with Mom needing a break in a very big way ;)

They're cute, but man oh man- hosting and mommy-ing is intense.

Report was that Moxie didn't make a peep the whole time, though wide awake. And Piper hike for almost two miles!
So Mox reports
Moxie is making crawling much harder on herself then it needs to be. She gets up on her toes rather than staying on her knees. Backwards is still the default direction. Though she has had some random tours around the livingroom carpet.

We had about 30 seconds of a teething break. The fourth top tooth is on its way in making for some short naps and early mornings. So that will be the 6th tooth. I think another may be close behind because she's starting to favor sticking things in the other side. Honestly if it weren't for the super early wake ups I would have no clue.
Well that and the buckets of drool and trying to eat my face.
Grandma Les sent the much needed
Mittens!
Now.
If it would only snow!

So excited about said mittens she couldn't sit still!

Packaging can be fun too
