We may not be taking Monday off, but
Josh was around this weekend and we had some great times.
Saturday on a whim we headed up to Salida to go to the pool. Unfortunately is was closed,
but we had a great time in the grass at the park just the same.
She loves the grass
Sunday Morning we decided to go for a hike. It was beautiful up Cottonwood Creek trail.
Piper loved it! While she doesn't last too terribly long, we had a grand time and plan on doing it again soon.
We found a a place to stop midway to play around a little.
Water Baby indeed.

Back at home we tried on a hat from Aunt Amy, fall is in the air for sure.
And then some Momma and Piper time.
Piper is doing what her Aunt Charlie did as a baby,
Loving me very very hard. She squeezes me, "kisses" me and when she can- tries to use my chin as a teether. Its very sweet, I know she doesn't mean any harm in it at all. Her little body tenses up when she hugs me, hugging so so hard- like she can barely contain herself.
But I'm trying to calmly show her to be "gentle" when she loves on me.
