Music Fest

Wooohoooo!!!!

What a weekend!
Saturday I performed and Mimi joined us.
I was so scattered I didn't take a single photo.

Josh did though!

Moxie was amazing.
A little too amazing. She just soaked it all up and then wouldn't sleep.
And the thing is, she doesn't melt. So unless you watch the clock you have a nightmare.
We drove her, swung her, wore her, shush pat her, nursed her ( well I nursed her ;)
And no go.
Eventually got her to sleep but wow- amazing.

And bless sweet Mimi, Sat. she offered and then later texted- after a long day she came to the house and hung out after the girls went to bed.
First date alone since Moxie was born!

Sunday we returned.
Josh was an EMT for the day.
A far more mellow day, we had another great time.

Piper is fearless.
She's walking and wandering on her own too. But after several tests... She comes back and checks in, never wandering too far.
I wouldn't do that anywhere with her, but at this hometown event she did great.

She was so good at this - spectators were commenting on her.

After awhile the guy running it came up and asked me and then her if he could.. Ehem.. " launch her"
She assured us both she wasn't scared.

And she wasn't.

I can't even tell you how high she was.

I could barely hear her squeals of glee when she soared back up.

She was in heaven.

Moxie made use of the stroller I splurged on and Piper never liked.

And Piper found a love of crepes.

They had a kids tent and Piper played games and had a ball.

I hung out with Moxie while she rolled in the grass.

Feeew...
