"Whoa"

"Whoa"
Is Piper's favorite word this week.

Josh was in the front yard with her and she was playing in the flowers. A huge bee was about 2 inches from her face and she just kept saying "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!"

Piper started the week eating like a linebacker.
The kid was eating me under the table.

She has taken a liking to raw onions *shudder*
(onions are not Mom's favorite at all)
Tears streaming down her face, she munched on.

To even the score she cried for Dad's least favorite food the next day.
Bell Pepper!

As she felt better she started to play on her own.
Taking books and "reading" them on her own.
Not at all something she had been doing before.

At the Dr. office she took her toys, cracker, and water and placed them in the book rack.

And after being quiet for a few too many minutes I found her in her water table.

This week was the 4th of July!
A mellow midweek holiday - but we still popped in on the parade in town

And enjoyed some RAIN!!!!!

"WHOA!"

Pretend!
Oh ya, Momma is beaming with pride!
It has been said that in our day in age what is valued more than intelligence is creativity.

I pulled out an old packing tube and Piper immediately turned it into a horse.
Galloping around the house, we now refer to it as her horse.
No prompting  - she figured this one out on her own.
