Summer Lovin'

The last week has been full with firsts. Moxie took her first bottle like a champ.

Daddy time is always good

And summer weather and mud puddles... Well that's good too!

These are our days. 

We go through about three bathing suits and three showers a day.

I'd like to say it wears her out enough to get her to sleep well at night.

But alas that is not the case.

We've been hanging with the neighbors.

And Piper has several alter egos.

Kitty Girl

Sunshine Girl

Bat Girl

And Circus Girl. 

Truth be told I've had to ask Kitty Girl to leave several times. She whines and is high maintenance, while the others are fun and easy going.

Moxie discovered her toes this week and has started grabbing more.

Good thing Piper thinks it's hysterical when her little sister grabs her hair.

Dad came home early one day this week for a surprise Piper/Daddy hike.

And later I took her to the creek, which is high right now.

And fun with friends

The week hasn't been 1/2 bad.

Moxie even enjoyed the Merry Muscles for the first time.

But we did get some news...

Come July Piper's school Rahula is closing. Miss Vicky has received an incredible job offer in Salida and she's moving. We are happy for her, but sad for us. So far it's not looking like anyone is going to step up and provide a similar service. Efforts to line up trades haven't looked good either. So we're keeping an ear to the ground and hoping something comes up.
