This is unfortunate.
Trust me. Before my camera ate it, this was the cutest photo ever.

PIGTAILS!
Piper needed a good 15 minutes to warm once we got to the fest. But anyone who saw her after that wouldn't believe me that she was a screaming mess when we first got there.
She was running around, dancing, chasing after other kids and having a ball!
"Miss Social" was her nickname for the afternoon.
Dad was on call (and needed) for the ambulance,
but he was able to take a little time to make his girl giggle.
Miss Charlotte has been so patient with Piper. Piper has a little Of Mice and Men situation going on where she gets REALLY excited to be playing with other kids (and animals, she's almost killed Fiver twice) . Charlotte now says "Gentle Gentle Gentle" like we do and Piper calms.
At which point Charlotte gives her a hug.
