Sunday morning finds me sitting with a little bit of time and Josh off
stump shooting with Dave who is visiting for the weekend with Jenn and
their little one. Stevie and his girlfriend Michelle sleep soundly in
the loft as Piper is down for her first nap of the day.
Its Music Fest Weekend.
Yesterday with the support of friends and family I was able to perform with a troupe of 10. I really wasn't sure it would be possible, but it went off without a hitch.
WONDERFUL!
Piper missed it though, as she was napping and playing at home with Grammy Eileen.
Which worked out perfect. Piper had a good solid nap before I took her out to the festivities. She did awesome. She's become so aware in the last 48 hours its amazing to watch. Others notice it as well. After bringing her up to Shumei everyday this week by Friday Osamu took a double take and came back to introduce himself to Piper. He said she could "see" him now. I knew what he meant. She's really engaging rather than just witnessing the world around her. Sure, she was quietly soaking up the music fest, but she was also engaging those people who stopped to say hello. Quite the people person. In addition to that she is a fidget queen. She wants to stand, dance, jump, roll... We have to hold her down these days for her to fall asleep,
she's just that active.
