"Merry Christmas Baby Pipe-oo"
- Cousin Aowyn, 2.5 years old
Well...
It will be a memorable one, that is for sure.
Santa brought the flu this year.
I woke up at 12:45am and he had already come and I found mine.
7am Piper got up she found hers.
Thanks Santa.
Luckily she didn't get as sick as I did, but it was still so so sad.
Sweet little thing.
Aunt Sandi sent a sweet bear named Oliver.
Piper heart Oliver
After a long sick day we tabled the gifts until later.
The next day, still not feeling quite right, Piper opened her gift from Grandma Leslie.
oooo a bow for when she gets older, she is very excited about this! She points to it all the time.
Grandma Sally made a super cool Dr. Seuss quilt - Piper was excited and confused.
Wait...isn't this from my super cool books? But this is soft!
Another box for me?
You shouldn't have!
That night Ansel couldn't stand waiting and opened his (and Imogine's) gift from his cousins Daphne and Fred. Thanks Guys!! And who said Dogs and Cats can't get along.
The next day everyone was feeling better so
Grandpa, Grammy Eileen and Uncle Tim came to visit.
A WAGGON! Soooooo Cool!
Thank you Grammy and Grandpa!
The last week or so has seen so much change...
Piper now walks along the furniture, points and has book preferences. She cries out for more books if she's not done and understands a few of the signs we use
as well as when you shake your head "no."
She's pulling to stand in the middle of the room and not holding on.
No steps yet, which is just fine, she can take her time.
In the mean time she has refined her crawling and is a perfect right left right,
and quite fast I might add. Perfect for cognitive development.
Keep it going sweet pea, you're doing great!
