Summer Lovin'

Trying to play catch up.

So many photos!

So much cuteness!

The yard is now green and lush. But before that...

Piper has stink bugs she treats like little dogs. She's had them for over a month!

She dances with them. Takes them on bike rides. They eat like kings. But suffer greatly. 

And then the bugs came.

So we've escaped to Salida a few times.

And Mito came again. The girls had a private classical guitar concert.

They were in awe and he's in love.

And the porch is done!

So we've had some epic play dates. Moxie is buried in there. Blissfully buried in there.

Ren Fair!

We're trying not to be all work and no play. So on a Sunday with no plans we decided to go to the Renaissance Fair while making breakfast.

Big deal considering the place is nearly 4 hours from our house.

But we did it!!! 4 hrs there, 4 hrs back and not a single melt out of anyone (well, Josh came close) the entire day!

This is Paige. She's 32 

And as sad as we felt it was for her, she was there and Piper was pumped. So there ya go.

Lots to look at!

There was a guy dressed as a pirate handing out rings to little girls.

Piper scored two 😉

And Piper learned why you don't eat the bottom of the cone first.

Too bad I didn't get a single photo of Moxie. She was the best dressed of any of us! 

Finally!

So much to update!

I've been in pain and crazy busy.

Bad combo.

But this?

This softens the blow.

As does this...

The girls are growing at lightening speed.

Miss Moxie is talking a bit. She's funny as always. 4 canine teeth to go and 1 nap.

She'll be driving next week. I'm sure of it.

The girls are playing together. Miss moo loves playing with the fairy house and she's still tearing up the house.

Miss Piper has finally revealed her clothing quirk.

In her mind if the dress hits her feet? Golden.

Great.

She's crazy tall and super skinny.

I think I'm going to have to unearth my sewing machine and stop sleeping.

Moxie can open doors.

Lock the bathroom door.

Miss Piper helped me make Mimi's birthday cake. Down to cracking the eggs.

Girl Gang!!

Sisters, Bees and Mother's Day

Oh my goodness 

Yup. This happened.

What also happened is this sister braved a car filled with 27,000 bees in an effort to come visit.

And caught the fated tummy bug. 

Moxie wasn't too happy about that part.

Ya, not pretty.

But in trade she got a lot of amazing time with these crazies.

And got to get close and personal with the bees.

Talk about childhood memories... Piper is pumped!

The rain here has been incredible.

And great to have some time to chill out after all the sickness.

Moxie has 4 teeth left to cut - and she's workin' em.

And the book obsession!

Abby loves his girls!

She may wear her floaties in the snow

But she refuses to wear them in the pool.

This girl is going all the way under and jumping off the side. She still isn't propelling herself very far - but that doesn't stop her from trying.

She declared this week that we must go to a warm ocean now.

And a dog is necessary.

She needs one.
