At Mabon (aka autumn equinox) we pulled out the Halloween boxes.
I have saved all my wigs over the years. Lots of giggles with these in the mix.

Here Piper is very seriously telling me she can't look up for a photo, she's coloring!

Moxie is solid now. Sit her down and she's staying up for long periods of time. Until something catches her attention and she turns to look.

We had gotten in the habit of not reading as much as we had. So I pulled out the meditation cushions, built a fort, and unearthed Aunt Amy's serendipity books.
Hours. Literally Piper would return home from school and we'd sit in the sun, fall breeze light on the air and we'd read on and off until dinner. Moxie loves it because in her bouncer she's higher than us. She jumps and giggles and Piper and I read and cuddle.
Heaven.

Moxie is developing a little top curl! It's not as tight as Piper's were, but stinking cute just the same. But hard to photograph.

The big haps this week was the wedding of our dear friends daughter. Inessa and Lawrence were married this evening.
Stunning!
Well... What I saw of it.

Ah the joys...
Moxie got overstimulated so I'm back at home while Piper lives it up with her Dad. To be fair he campaigned hard to come back for me. But Piper needed a Daddy date, and I knew it.
Wish us luck. Little Miss up at the crack of dawn, won't take a nap, highly effected by lack of sleep is running wild over there. Needs to happen once and awhile, stretch those muscles- but good lord I hope she sleeps in.
