So Let's See

Been such a whirl wind I came across these great climbing photos from our trip a couple weeks ago and decided to just throw them in this post.

I mean, Jonah is in this post after all so it works - right?

Last week ended on an ear infection note.
Then Dad got the flu, though I now wonder if it was just a convenient way to lay on the couch watching TinkerBell with another little sicky in the house...
 Josh does love TinkerBell... ;-)

 But she bounced back.

GrandmaLes sent a package that included a Ghost, she looooves ghosts right now. Well, she loves the whole "Boo" concept. So it needed to go for a ride in the stroller.

The Shumei Master Gardner sent me home with a huge bag of carrots for her, she loved them!
She is a veg girl. Fruit and veg all the way.

Later this week two little fairies took over my kitchen.
I wish they had baked some cookies or somethin'!

Instead they just relocated my pots and pans.

 Those silly fairies!

 Girl-fest 2012!

There is a reason all these photos are out of focus...whoa!

Then we got to visit with Fisher's Grammy, Vicky!

We both had such a great time, thank you for the visit Vicky!
Hope to do it again on your next trip to town!

Time to test out the costume...

Grandpa Scott works for the Railroad and scored us some tickets for
the Halloween Pumpkin Patch ride!

And he got tickets for Jonah and his Mom too!

And what a treat, when we sat down Charlotte and her Momma we're right next to us!

Dead-end in the maze. Whats a bee and fairy to do?

Fist piece of Halloween candy had to be Daddy's favorite... Peanut butter cup.
Has protein, right?

"So lets see"
-Piper Wilfong

Ya. You have to listen, but when you do...she's full of these. Grammy reports that after I dropped her off on Friday for a sleepover, Piper stood in the middle of the living room looked around and said, "So lets see..."

Yes Piper, lets see...what else to report...
Updates include no more highchair, ridiculous giggle fits and lots and lots of wings and skirts...

While You Were Away

The last several weeks have been rough.
Josh has been working out of town a lot since late June, but lately its been more and weekends filled with work as well.
Add in Aoife being out of the country for a month...and, well...
Piper and I had to get creative.

We went across the street a lot.

Hung out in the yard...

and went across the street...

She loves being outside.

We got a little stir crazy.
This, in my opinion, is a brilliant idea to entertain her.

lasted about 10 seconds.

no joke

We stopped by the free box in town and found some cool books.

And Grandma Sally sent some cool bells.

But we always ended up back outside.

Admittedly there was some TV time in there.
Miss Piper LOVES Tinker Bell.
And sometimes Mom needs 10 minutes.
Because even the movie doesn't hold her attention for too long.

Also in the box with the bells were some pantaloons for me AND Piper.

One of the weekends Josh was back he was able to take a day and we went and visited
Sarah and Jonah.

They are up at Tara Mandala, a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center. She's care-taking a home and working up there. Horses 10 yards from the back door was a mighty big hit.

She's fearless around them.

which scares the crap out of her parents.

I mean her little fingers look like mighty good treats!

She and Jonah got along great and totally remembered eachother.

She's wanting to sit and eat like a big girl.
well...other than the refusing silverware part...

All right all right, we did do some play dates at the park too.

Met up with friends from time to time.

And a good thing too, because we had our first snow not too long after that.

Nothing stuck on the valley floor, but it gave us a chance to test run some winter items.

And couldn't forget our orange, hunting season started you know.

In all honesty, Piper has missed her Daddy so much its horribly sad.
When he's around she's on him like glue and if she thinks he's leaving again she cries.
She's got this new thing where she wants the "units" intact.
If Grampa shows up without Grammy, she's a little off. If Josh is reading to her and I'm not there she goes and finds me. And then pats us both on the tummy looking at us and grinning.
all together again...

I told Josh she adored him, but he didn't belive me.
I think he gets it now.
Luckily he's in town for the most part for awhile, so she can get her Papa time in.
