Another busy week here in the Mountains.
Piper is loving the play set Fisher handed down, Thank you! She even says, "whee"
when she goes down the slide. In a monotone voice of course, which cracks me up.
We have to keep this girl moving. Loves to visit out and about and go for hikes.
But the walking?
Well, she doesn't really have time for that.
All the stories about how kids go from a step to running in a week isn't happening over here.
But thats okay, she's just pacing herself.
This last week Piper got a private Taiko concert
- oh my goodness the girl was dancing out of my arms.
And a private world, jazz concert in my studio (the artists stayed with us) and she loved it.
What a lucky girl to be exposed to so much in such a beautiful location.
Aunt Amy has gotten Piper bundled proper and we've been enjoying almost daily hikes.
Piper and Jonah have been playing a lot lately. A few times a week.
They are too stinkin' cute.
Piper has been beating him up though, so we're working on that.
Good thing he's a good natured guy...
I didn't get a photo, but ... imagine her standing...
Can you see it? Ya, she used her little rock climber fingers to pull to stand in the windowsill.
Piper with her Granny Lynn.
Lynn comes over every week to play and Piper adores her.
Granny Lynn was the friend who years ago told me, "Come on, have a baby it'll be fun."
So it's great to have her come and play!
Okay, wondering about the title of this post?
Well here you have it.
She whistles constantly.
I found out Aoife whistles for Yoda and so Piper has taken to doing the same
when she can't see him.
She's also following other simple commands.
Piper where is your raccoon? Is followed by her making a bee-line to her toy.
She still ignores me when I ask her to come to me,
but I think that has to do with something else...
She says something that sounds like "Dog", "Door" and she's refined her "Kitty"
I think she's saying more than I've caught on,
I think I need to listen closer to what I think is babble.
